This IEC Regulator Module is the same as used in the excellent "Electronics Kit" (EM1754-001). It is powered from a 12V.AC, PlugPak and provides a fixed 9V regulated output at 500mA and an adjustable regulated DC output from 1.3V to 12V.DC at 1A. The voltage is adjusted by a calibrated knob and there is no meter. All output are from IEC's new 2mm sockets. Adaptors are available to change 2mm to 4mm sockets and a range of 2mm banana plug cables and links are available as used in the recent IEC Electronics and 'Photonics' kits. The 2mm banana plug system is more compact and is more suitable for electronics than the large 4mm systems.
