Details

Electrostatic rods are used for generating static charges for the teaching and the demonstration of electrostatics. The various material are: Nylon, Acrylic, Polystyrene (Styrene), Polyethylene (Polythene), Glass and Ebonite (vulcanised rubber). Sizes are 300x10mm LxD.

It can be demonstrated that when different materials are rubbed with different cloths, different polarity charges are generated.
