Hot Plate, general purpose laboratory hot plate, 240V.AC. 600 watts. Rectangular 200x180mm area, with high temperature alloy plate for even plate temperature.

'Thermostat' temperature control provides heat adjustment from 50 to 320deg.C and the plate maintains the set temperature. This model has PTFE (Teflon) coated plate.

NOTE: For general boiling of water etc.to overcome heat losses, it is necessary for the plate to achieve maximum temperature of about 450degC, therefore the 'Simmerstat' control model is recommended for this purpose.
