We need to collect private information in order to accept
and dispatch orders and to contact you for customer service
enquiries. We understand that your privacy is important to
you and we are committed to ensuring that any personal
information that we have about you remains confidential.
The Haines online store complies with the Privacy Act 1988
and the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000. This
privacy policy describes the information we require and how
we use it.
When you place an order with the Haines online store we need
to collect personal information. This includes your school
name, your name, mailing address, email address, contact
details and credit card information and an order number if
an order is being placed for a school.
Your personal information is password protected and you can
view details of your account online at any time via our
secure server.
Your information is used only by Haines Educational and
Haines Learning Centre and we collect your personal
information so that we may:
• Provide you with products or services that you request
• Advise you when we are experiencing difficulty in
fulfilling your request
• Assist you when you wish to return a product
• Help you with any inquiries
• Offer you any additional products and services
• Protect you from fraud.
The email address you supply to us when you order is used to
send you order confirmation and shipping confirmation. We
also send you out an email newsletter with information on
special discounts, promotions, updates on new products and
exclusive offers that we run from time to time if you wish
to subscribe. You can unsubscribe from this mailing list at
any time.
When you make a purchase with us we require a credit card
number and its expiration date to obtain payment unless you
are from a primary, secondary or tertiary institution and
hold an account with us. For increased security your credit
card and personal details are not stored on our web servers.
To provide you with better service we retain your account
information on our files so when you shop with us again you
don’t need to re-enter all of your details every time. This
makes the entire checkout process simpler and faster.
Security
For credit card transactions, Haines Educational and Haines
Learning Centre adds security by using Secure Sockets Layer
(SSL) technology. This means that the credit card
information you send is encrypted by your computer, and then
decrypted again on our side, preventing others from
accessing your private information in between. So, when
using an SSL capable browser, shopping on Haines Educational
and Haines Learning Centre web site is the safest kind of
transaction possible with a credit card.

Placing
Orders
1.All orders to include item code, product description,
price. (maybe skip freight…they will be contacting us asking
about freight, could put in freight is sent by the cheapest
method?)
2. Orders may be placed by phone, fax or email. Please quote
your order number and payment details.
Terms and Methods of Payment
1. Website orders can be paid by using Visa, Mastercard and
Bankcard. Schools may place orders using an order number and
then paying by cheque after goods have been received.
Prices
1. Prices are negotiable for bulk requirements. Please
contact our sales department.
2. Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and exclude GST
3. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Return and Refund Policy |
Your Order
hasn’t arrived
If you have already received shipping information from us
and your order has not yet arrived within the specified
time, please contact your local Australia Post post office
and advise you are expecting an Australia post e-parcel.
You received Incorrect or Damaged Items
Contact Haines Educational or Haines Learning Centre within
two working days of receipt of goods. Prior approval must be
obtained from Haines staff before returning goods. A Return
Authority Number will be given to you upon approval.
Returning Goods
1. Goods must be returned in their original packaging.
2. Goods will be accepted for credit or replacement at the
sole discretion of Haines Educational and Haines Learning
Centre.

Packaging
Goods are securely packed by Haines to reduce handling and
possible damage in transit. An invoice for the items
purchased including notification of any items backordered is
included with delivery.

Delivery Schedule
Please allow 2 weeks from time of ordering until you can
expect goods. Occasionally items can be out of stock and may
be backordered. Backordered items are sent freight free
unless previously notified. |
